Miracles petitioned through vows, saints, relics, sacrifice, and moral alignment rather than commanded by force.

Classification: Divine Grace is petitioned miracle, not spell command. The petitioner asks gods, saints, relics, or the First Light covenant to answer a need under moral witness. The answer may be silence, refusal, redirection, or a miracle that costs more than expected.
Source: vows, saints, relic custody, honest witness, sacrifice, public accountability, sanctuary law, and alignment with the covenant's refusal of domination. Grace answers need more readily than ambition.
Ranks: Candle Votary can hold simple prayers and comfort rites. Shrine Keeper can maintain local blessings and oaths. Relic Bearer can petition through a recognized holy object. Lightward can protect roads, prisoners, or the helpless under danger. Sainted Voice is rare and may speak a miracle that changes public history.
Costs: vows, service, fasting, moral risk, public scrutiny, loss of institutional comfort, burden of witness, and the chance of holy silence. A priest may receive the miracle and lose career, safety, or belonging.
