A pan-realm church preserving the myth of the First Light, crowning kings, licensing holy orders, and judging abyssal corruption.

Identity: the Temple of the First Light is the pan-realm church that preserves the covenant myth of the First Light, crowns kings, licenses relic custody, sanctifies oaths, investigates abyssal corruption, and offers ordinary people healing, burial, sanctuary, and moral language for suffering.
Structure: the Temple is divided into shrine parishes, road chapels, cathedral courts, relic houses, saint orders, and the High Dawn Synod. Local priests handle births, vows, funerals, and disputes; cathedral officials handle doctrine, coronation, relic trials, and accusations involving nobles or demons.
Sacred authority: miracles are petitioned, not commanded. A rite may fail because the cause is unjust, the relic is false, the petitioner is corrupt, or the god refuses the requested method. This keeps faith powerful but politically inconvenient.
Orders: Lightwards protect roads and helpless communities; Dawn Hospitallers heal plague, war wounds, and famine injuries; Lantern Inquisitors audit memory, records, relics, and demonic influence; the Silent Choir performs exorcism, funeral binding, and rites that must not be sung where civilians can hear.
