Forbidden magic that grants quick command while growing unnatural appetite.

Tags: abyss, forbidden, corruption, proof-audited.
Classification: Abyssal Arts are forbidden command techniques using residue of the Abyssal Crown. They are not always ugly, chaotic, or obviously evil. Their danger is that they solve problems by teaching the user to want domination as the simplest shape of reality.
Source: abyssal residue, broken seals, name hunger, fear, command chains, corrupted relics, demon bargains, battlefield despair, and institutions willing to hide results if the method works.
Temptation: abyssal magic may heal faster, command frightened soldiers, open sealed doors, end a siege, silence riots, restore beauty, erase debt, or make a witness forget pain. It usually works before the cost is visible.
Appetites: every use grows a specific hunger: worship, obedience, names, blood, secrets, metal, sleep, beauty, silence, certainty, or possession. The user begins arranging life so the appetite can be fed without admitting it.
